Export NZ Wellington region recently held a one day workshop
in the Rimu Room. We found that the key requirements any event
organizer looks for in a venue were all met, namely-
- reasonably priced
- high standard of décor and equipment
- adjustable air conditioning
- quiet
- close proximity to kitchen facilities, with a foyer outside
the room where refreshments can be served
- catering available
- convenient all day parking facilities
We were very pleased with The Rimu Room and will have no hesitation
using it again when we next organize a workshop for exporters
in the Kapiti region.

We at Age Concern have used the Rimu Room on several occasions
over the last few years.
We like it because, being in Coastlands, it is in a central place
for those involved in our functions.
It has a pleasing and restful decor and is well
equipped with everything needed for seminars, training meetings,
or social occasions; it also has a fully equipped kitchen. The
two clearly defined spaces that can be closed off or used as one
large space provide a flexibility that we have found extremely
useful
